Gardendale Church of the Nazarene© 2011 GCN Contact Us

Our ministry for elementary students is always fun and always God-centered! It’s His world and we spend our time enjoying His Kingdom and finding our place in it!
Children have so many opportunities like...
  • Sunday School
  • Kids Worship
  • Bible Quizzing
  • Caravans
  • Camp
  • ...and more
The Caravan ministry exists to help children become more like Jesus by encouraging their growth in the four specific areas mentioned in Luke 2:52: mental (wisdom), physical (stature), spiritual (favor with God), and social (favor with men).

Our caravans meet on Wednesday nights at 6:45.
Gardendale Nazarene Early Childhood

Here at Gardendale Nazarene Early Childhood Ministries, we believe a child is never too young to learn about the love of God.

From their first days in our infant nursery all the way to their last few weeks in our Pre-K department, children will discover the joy of Christ. Our teachers and caregivers love young children and are committed to caring for each of them.

Because young children grow so quickly, both physically and mentally, we design each room to specifically meet the challenges and hallmarks of the different stages in early childhood development. These rooms are open for all morning services.

Infant Room -- Six Weeks Old through Age Two
Our goal in this room is simply to develop a loving and trusting relationship with the little ones and their parents. Just like you, we want our infants to know we will hear their cries and we will respond. We believe that if they feel safe in our arms, they are one step closer to being safe in the arms of God.  Walkers are beginning to enjoy music and stories. We spend a little time every Sunday singing, reading and laughing!

Two and Threes Room
Two and Three year-olds are discovering their world at a rapid pace, so we work hard to introduce them to God’s world. We take walks, sing, color, and tell the stories of God in hopes that they will fall in love with the God who made their ever-expanding universe!

How we keep your child safe
Every child’s safety is our primary concern. We strive to make sure your child is taken care of both physically and emotionally.

Here are just some of the ways we do that:
  • Safe and Secure Check-In
  • Emergency procedures
  • A Healthy Environment
  • Behavioral procedures
